You can always count on a Bush to make some for of politically correct yet ignorant statement that will brighten your day and bring a smile to your lips. We all thought that once G.W. Bush was replaced in office, we would be deprived of his antics; world, breathe a sigh of relief and rest assured that the statements made by anyone from the Bush family will never be scarce or go unpublished anytime soon.

In the wake of immigration reform in the US, Jeb Bush decided to make a statement about immigrants in the US saying they were more fertile and thus very good for the american economy. Apparently, we like to pop babies more than the average american family making us a good investment! Also, because our parents don't throw us out at the tender age of 16, immigrants make for tighter family bonds and somehow that makes the world go round in Jeb Bush's head.

Again, I see his quote as a compliment laced with a dash of ignorance as I doubt there exists a correlated relationship between immigrants, fertility, tighter family bonds and economic prosperity but as a second generation canadian directly affected by the politics of the US, I appreciate the thought Mr. Bush. Please keep the statements coming!
